ACMTRL's Current ProjectsCurrently the Laboratory has the capacity for in-house design, analysis and fabrication of advanced composite structures and testing apparatus. Prototype design, analysis and testing is conducted within the laboratory. A full complement of tesing machines, data acquisition and fixtures are available for composite materials characterzation as per ASTM standards. The laboratory has the ability to fabricate, for characterization of material properties, specimens using standard techniques such as hand lay up, braiding, filament winding etc. The laboratory has full instrumentation capabilities to collect real time data for all associated experiments.
